Maze in hockey arena -- Concord Kiwanis Fair 2005 maze
entrance
is on left (where light is). Pictures do not show the various hidden
items in the maze patrons are to search for--- bells, drums, animals,
horns

Maze in hockey arena - view from other side. Note seating stands in
background. They were a great viewing place to see people go through
the maze. Entrance to the maze was through a large garage
door
--- right side of picture. Note bottom of panels are open-- This has
proved to be very comforting for parents whose kids are in the maze--
They can watch their kids feet!
Kinds love it too as they sometimes cheat and scoot under panels
instead of following the path - and their parents can't follow them.
There have been some great games of tag going on at times.

A washed out front view at the Hopkinton Fair in 2004.

A close up of booth at Hopkinton Fair in 2004. The pink
object in
the middle is a marble drop. I give each person a marble and they watch
it drop down. I get many funny look as to why to do this, but then as
the marble drops, everyone smiles and laughs. It gives me
just
enought time to make change and it is a way to control how fast people
go into the maze. Even
when I have had lines of people for over 2 solid hours, by
using this I have never had the maze too crowded to let people in.
My usual charge is $3 per person. However parents get a discount.pictures.html
